There are several reasons why users often perceive aesthetically pleasing design as a more usable design.

Reason #1

A good-looking design is often associated with professionalism and attention to detail.

When a product or website is visually appealing, it gives the impression that the designers have put a lot of thought and effort into the design and that they care about the user experience.

This can increase users’ confidence in the product and make them more likely to use it.

Reason #2

An aesthetically pleasing design is often just simply easier on the eyes.

When a design is cluttered or visually overwhelming, it can be difficult for users to navigate and find what they are looking for.

A clean and visually appealing design can make it easier for users to focus on the content and find what they need.

Reason #3

An aesthetically pleasing design can create an emotional connection with the user.

When a product, app, or website is visually appealing, it can create a positive emotional response in the user, making users more likely to use the product.

Overall, aesthetically pleasing design is often perceived as more usable because it increases confidence, makes it easier for users to focus and navigate, and creates a positive emotional response.
